Blenheim Palace Triathlon
Refreshing an iconic event with a look as dynamic as its athletes.
This project involved a complete rebrand of the Blenheim Palace Triathlon, a multi-sport event focused on being a "give it a go" experience that combines fun, artistry, and culture. The goal was to create a vibrant and welcoming identity that aligned with the event’s objectives and set it apart from its iconic venue, Blenheim Palace, which does not own the event.
As the Lead Designer, I spearheaded the rebrand, developing a comprehensive visual identity that included a new logo, straplines, brand guidelines, tone of voice, social media content, event signage, t-shirts, and medals. To ensure clear differentiation from the palace, I designed a wordmark logo that prominently features the word "TRIATHLON," ensuring it is always central to the branding.
The response was great, with participants loving the colourful and fun designs, which stood out beautifully against the stunning grounds of Blenheim Palace. The new branding successfully brought the event’s ethos to life, making the weekend a memorable experience for all.
