This project involved designing finisher medals for high-profile sporting events across the UK, including Hackney Half, Swimathon, and Etape Caledonia. The goal was to create fun, fresh designs that participants would be proud to receive and share, while ensuring each medal stood out from previous years to maintain its appeal as a key incentive for sign-ups.

As the Lead Designer, I conceptualised and designed the medals, presented my ideas to stakeholders, and prepared the files for production. Working with metals was a new and exciting challenge; by exploring various materials and finishes, I was able to create premium-looking medals that enhanced the overall participant experience.

The response was overwhelmingly positive. On event days, the medals received numerous compliments, and participants eagerly shared photos of their medals at the finish line. The designs were a key factor in making the events memorable and successful.
